Windows Setup

Unboxing and Connecting the Camera

Step 1. Open the box and take out the OBSBOT Tiny SE camera & the USB-C cable

Step 2. Position your camera near your monitor to ensure optimal framing and visibility of your face.

Step 3. Connect the USB-C cable to the camera and plug the other end into a USB-C port on your Windows computer.

Installing OBSBOT Software

Step 4. Go to the official OBSBOT website: https://www.obsbot.com/download

Step 5. Select OBSBOT TinyCam Software 

Step 6. Select 'OBSBOT Center (Formerly OBSBOT WebCam)' then Windows Option

Step 7. Then select 'Download'


Step 8. In your downloads folder click the download file

Step 9. On the window that says "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" then select 'Yes'

Step 10. Accept the 'License Agreement'


Step 11. Click 'Next'


Step 12. Accept the Default saving location


Step 13. Click Install


Step 14. Select 'Launch OBSBOT Center' then click 'Finish'


Checking Camera Functionality

Step 15. Choose 'Pro Mode'


Step 16. On the window that says 'Do you want to allow public and private networks to access this app?'

then select 'Allow' twice.

Step 18. Ensure the OBSBOT Tiny SE is detected in TinyCam software.

  • Choose the Normal Tracking button on the software.  The green light on the camera should go blue.  The camera should now auto-track your face as you move around.

Step 1. Open any video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Google Meet).


Step 2. Go to Settings → Video and select OBSBOT Tiny SE as the camera source.

Updating Firmware (Recommended)

Step 1. Open the OBSBOT TinyCam software.

Step 2. Go to Settings → Firmware Update to check for updates.

Step 3. If an update is available, follow the prompts to update the firmware.

Step 9. Open the OBSBOT TinyCam app.


Step 10. Allow necessary permissions (Camera & Microphone) when prompted.


Setting the OBSBOT as Default Webcam


Step 9. Open Zoom, Teams, FaceTime, or Google Meet.


Step 10. Go to Settings → Video and select OBSBOT Tiny SE as your preferred camera.


Updating Firmware


Step 11. Launch OBSBOT TinyCam software.


Step 12. Click Settings → Firmware Update.

Extra Features & Troubleshooting

Gesture Control

Step 1. Show an open palm to make the camera zoom in or zoom out.

Step 2. Raise two fingers (V-shape) to enable or disable auto-tracking.

    • Try a different USB port.
    • Restart your PC/Mac.
    • Ensure the OBSBOT TinyCam software is installed.
