Step 1. In Canvas click on your account tab in the upper right hand corner of the screen

Step 2. Click on the tab labeled ‘Notifications’

Step 3. On the notification type headings to the right of the heading labeled ‘Submission Comment’ change the setting from the current setting to ‘Notify immediately’

Step 4. Your settings should now be updated for the Canvas system automatically notify you when a submission comment is posted on an assignment.
