Accessing Canvas 

Step 1. Open a Web Browser on your computer (such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox)  

Step 2.  In the Address bar type in https://fpeusa.instructure.com/  The page should look like this:

Login using your Canvas username and password. (If you don’t know your username or password please email techsupport@fpeusa.org OR call FreedomProject at 920.749.3793)

Step 3. If you are new to FPA, please review and agree to the “Acceptable Use Policy” before proceeding.  

Step 4. On your Canvas homepage click “Dashboard”  on the blue ribbon on the left-hand side of the screen:

Step 5.  Above the “Dashboard” tab you may see a course invitation option(s). Select “Accept”. If you don’t see the Accept button, skip to step 6. 

Step 6. Now you should see your Summer clubs under the dashboard. (You can also click the

“Courses” tab on the left side of the screen to see your clubs.)

Step 7. Click on the club you wish to enter

Step 8. You will now see your club with a menu that includes “Modules”, “Adobe Connect”,

“Grades”, and “Assignments”

Step 9.  When it is time for your club, please access it by using the following directions.

     a. NOTE: If you haven’t downloaded and installed Adobe Connect, you will need to do that before joining the live class.
Go to https://www.fpeusa.org/admissions/tech-equipment and scroll to “REQUIRED SOFTWARE” for the links.

    b. Click “Adobe Connect” in the course menu and Authorize EduGame Cloud (if needed).

    c. Click the Blue “Join” button

Step 10. If you don’t see the Join button, or need assistance, please contact FreedomProject Academy at 920-749-3793.  If you need assistance with class-related questions, please contact your club advisor via the Canvas Messaging system.
