Step 1. Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/connect-downloads-updates.html on a Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser.
Step 2. Notice the headings that say "For Desktop" and "For Mobile" for these directions we will focus on the buttons under 'For Desktop' (Version numbers may change throughout the school year than what is located on the screenshot below)
Step 3. Click “Download for macOS” or "Download for Windows” depending on your Operating System.
Step 4. File should start downloading in the upper right hand corer of your screen.
Step 5. Click the Downloaded File on Windows or Mac
( If Windows Download is not there, go to File Explorer -> Downloads Folder -> Sort by date modified-> You should see the download called "ConnectShellSetup" or something similar “.exe” file)
(If Mac Download is not there go to Finder->Downloads-> Sort by 'date added'-> Look for
Adobe Connect Download “.dmg”)
Step 6. If you are on Mac double click the “AdobeConnectInstaller”
Step 7. (Mac Only)
Mac Part 1: If on a Mac a box pops up saying “AdobeConnectInstaller" Click "Open"
Mac Part 2: (If on a Mac a box pops up saying “Couldn’t download file because it was not from the App Store"; Go to System Settings -> Privacy and Security-> Security -> Click the “App store and identified developers" option
Step 8. Install Adobe Connect. If on a Mac you see the screen that says "Adobe Connect" is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" press "Open"
Step 9. Now Adobe Connect is installed on your Computer.
Windows: search in the search bar on the lower left hand corner of your screen “Adobe Connect” and look for the Adobe Connect application. On Mac: Go to Finder -> Applications -> Adobe Connect.
