Steps to Download and Install Adobe Connect 

Step 1. Go to fpeusa.org on a Google Chrome browser 

Step 2. On our website hover over “Admissions”

Step 3. Click “Tech & Equipment” 

Step 4. Scroll down on the page till you see “Required Software” 

Step 5. Choose Either Adobe Connect “Mac” or Adobe Connect “Windows” depending on the Operating System installed on your computer.  (If you are on a Chrome browser on a Windows 11 computer please allow for multiple file downloads from a website on your browser and try downloading again. Step 6. Double click the selected option 

Step 7.  You should see a “Download” pop up in the upper right hand corner of your screen:

If Windows Download is not working please call 920-931-0660

(To see your Windows downloads please follow the below directions:

File Explorer -> Downloads Folder -> 

Sort by date modified-> You should see the download called "ConnectShellSetup11"

 or something similar “.exe” file)

(If Mac Download is not there go to Finder->Downloads-> Sort by date-> Look for 

Adobe Connect Download “.dmg”) 

Step 8. Once downloaded click the downloaded file (If on a Mac a box pops up saying “Couldn’t download file because it was not from the App Store; Go to System Preferences -> Privacy and Security-> Security -> Allow applications downloaded from 'App Store and identified developers' 

Step 9. Proceed through Adobe Connect installation instructions. If on a Mac you see the screen that says 'Couldn’t download file because it was not from the App Store'; Go to System Preferences -> Privacy and Security-> Security -> Allow applications downloaded from "App Store and identified developers"

Step 10. Now Adobe Connect should be installed on your Computer. (On 

Windows search in the search bar on the lower left hand corner of your screen “Adobe Connect” and look for the Adobe Connect application.) (On Mac Go to Finder -> Applications -> Adobe Connect Applications.)
