How to Check Sound for Adobe Connect:

 Step 1. Go to Canvas at the URL “fpeusa.instructure.com/” 

Step 2. Fill in your student's Username and Password

Step 3. You should now be logged in to your student's dashboard

Step 4. On the blue ribbon on the left-hand side click the courses box

Step 5. Choose the course named ‘Support Academic & Technology


Step 6. Click ‘Adobe Connect

Step 7. Then click ‘Join’

 


Step 8. On the Technical Support screen on the left hand side make sure the correct speaker (Loudspeaker icon) and microphone (1930s looking Microphone) are selected. You can select the correct speaker and microphone  by clicking the dropdown arrow under each labeled heading. Make sure that the speaker and microphone icons that you want selected are green. 

 

Step 9. You can also test your speaker by clicking the music note icon in the lower right hand corner of the speaker section, and you can check the microphone setting by clicking the gear icon in the lower right hand corner of the microphone section.

Step 10. Click 'Request Entry' or 'Enter Room' 

 

Step 11. Once joined you should have the classroom in the Adobe Connect application pop up




Step 12. Click the sound button in the upper left-hand corner of the screen (Make sure the sound button is green)




Step 13. Click the sound button with the arrow right next to it. Make sure the right speaker you want sound coming from is the speaker with the blue check mark to the right of it. 


Step 14. Please then test your Speakers by clicking the class title (upper left-hand side) then in the drop down menu click 'Speaker and Microphone Setup'.
