COST
To apply to FPA you will pay an enrollment fee of $250 per student.
The $250 enrollment fee is not included in the tuition and is NON-refundable.
TIME COMMITMENT
Classes for 6th-12th Grades are scheduled for M-TH, M/W or T/TH, Friday is a workday to finish up any homework they may still have, as homework due dates are very important. There are different schedule class times available for a class and we call those sections. You will sign up for one section of each class you want to take and that will be the meeting time for that class throughout the school year.
Full-time for 6th Grade is 4 subjects: English, Math, Science, and History (all are core subjects).
Math and English are each 4-day classes (for 6th grade only) M-TH - $725 per subject per class for the full school year.
Science and History are each 2-day classes, either M/W or T/TH - $650 per subject per class for the full school year.
Full time for 7th - 12th Grade is 5 classes: English, Math, Science, History and either Latin or a Humanities class (depending on the grade entering).
Math is the only class you have a choice of 2-day or 4-day.
The 4-day Math class meets M-TH - $725 for the class for the full school year.
All other classes are 2-day classes M/W or T/TH - $650 per subject per class for the full school year.
BOOKS
The books are a separate cost and vary depending on what class they are taking. You can find the approximate prices for books on each of the class home pages.
TUTORING
In Junior High and High School, you can sign up for Tutoring for Math/Science and English Grammar/Writing/Literature.
- The cost is an additional $200 for the year per family and $100 for the second semester only, no matter how many students you have in Junior High and High School.
For individual tutoring as needed, one-on-one tutoring is available for $50 per hour. Once a session is requested, a tutor will reach out to schedule a session. Tutoring can be requested and purchased throughout the school year on the Resource board of the parent Blackbaud account.
