Accessing Canvas

Step 1. Open a Web Browser on your computer either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox 

Step 2. Type https://fpeusa.instructure.com in the address bar

The page looks like this: 

Log in using your Canvas/Blackbaud username and password. (If you don’t know your username or password please email techsupport@fpeusa.org OR call FreedomProject at 920.749.3793) 

Step 3. If you are new to FPA, please review and agree to the “Acceptable Use Policy” before proceeding.

Step 4. On your Canvas homepage click “Dashboard”

Step 5. Above the “Dashboard” tab you may see a course invitation. Select “Accept”.

Step 6. Now you should see your class(es) under the dashboard. (You can also click the “Courses” tab on the left side of the screen to see your classes.)

Step 7. Click on the course you wish to enter.

Step 8. You will now see your course with a menu that includes “Announcements”, “Adobe Connect”, “Grades”, “Assignments” etc.

Step 9. To join a live class or watch recordings, you will need to do the following:

1. Go to https://www.fpeusa.org/admissions/tech-equipment, scroll to “Required Software” and download the Adobe Connect app. If you have trouble with the Adobe Connect app downloaded from fpeusa.org please refer to our directions here: https://fpeusa.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/43000659395 to get the application directly from Adobe.
    
   

2. Click “Adobe Connect” in the menu and Authorize EduGame Cloud (if needed)  (See here for more specific directions: https://fpeusa.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/43000617725)
   

3. Click the Blue “Join” button NOTE: If you do not see a "Join" button, please call 920.749.3793 right away.
