Step 1. Download and Install Adobe Scan from the App Store\Play Store.

Step 2. Allow your mobile device to access your camera and photos

Step 3. Adobe Scan will automatically attempt to find your document, make sure the page is well lit and on a flat surface. (Note: Your screen may look different than the screenshots below.)

Step 4. The first time you run the application, you will see an "Adjust Borders" prompt. Select "Adjust borders after each scan" and click touch "Ok".

Step 5. Click and drag the borders to adjust the scan.

Step 6. To add pages, click "Keep Scanning" on iOS devices or "Keep Scanning" on Android.

Step 7. If you are done scanning click "Save PDF" and the PDF should now be saved and you should see the PDF on your Adobe Scan home menu. 

Step 8. If you want to edit your Adobe PDF please click on the '...' icon on the PDF you want to edit then click 'Modify'. 

Step 9. Once you are done modifying please edit the name of the PDF  and then click 'Save PDF' :

Step 10. Once the PDF is saved click "...More"

Step 11. Click "Copy to device"

Step 12. Select "On My phone" or cloud option(If you automatically get sent to the icloud option click the button that says 'Adobe Scan' then click 'browse'. 

Step 13. Choose the location you want to save the PDF file too.

Step 14. Open your email then send the PDF to yourself over email so you can turn in the PDF on a laptop or turn in the PDF using the Canvas Student mobile application here: https://fpeusa.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/43000685549
